dos varones que al mundo dio Sevilla
nos ofrece a los ojos; maravilla
ambos y emulación a los mejores.
Los primores del cielo, los primores
del arte aquí la envidia vio amarilla,
y sobrada de entrambos la rodilla
dobla, y suelta la lengua en sus loores.
En ti ¡oh Negrón! sin límite así crece
la ciencia y la bondad, que en todos mengua;
la pintura ¡oh Pacheco! en ti se suma.
Mi pluma y lengua para y se enmudece
por no llegar a tu virtud mi lengua,
por no llegar a tu pincel mi pluma.
